Enforta was merged with ER-Telecom in 2016. Before founding Enforta, Lee served as Chief Commercial Officer & Board Director for the ‘TransTeleCom’ subsidiary of ‘Russian Railways’ – the first operator to construct redundant terrestrial cable systems between Asia, Russia, and Europe. Lee has held many senior telecom and technology roles including Regional General Manager of the Asia, Middle East, and Africa Region for ‘Global One’ (now ‘Orange Business Services’) where he led the firm’s establishment of many new operations in Asia and the Middle East including ‘Barak’ (Israel). Lee previously served as ‘Sprint Corporation’s’ Finance Director for European operations and was part of the founding management team of ‘Maynard Electronics’ (now ‘Symantec Corporation’). He also served as Senior VP Business Development for ‘Iridium Satellite’ during its successful market relaunch of the bankrupt ‘Iridium Corporation’. He presently serves on the Board of Directors of wireless engineering and LPWAN equipment vendor ‘Tektelic Communications’. Lee previously served as VP of the Russian-American Chamber of Commerce. He was awarded the Wireless Communications Association (WCAI) ‘Industry Service Award’ for 2009. He was graduated from the Fuqua School at Duke University and has served on the Duke Fuqua Regional Advisory Board since 2013.

He is responsible for business development of the company’s M&A and strategic corporate development activities. He has over 20 years of business development experience in M&A projects in emerging countries especially China, Russia, and Asian countries. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Tokyo in 1993.
Our Division aims at developing new products and services for deployment within our portfolio including business services, digital services and IoT.
Our division is engaged in new business development for the Sumitomo Group, leveraging our existing competencies and portfolio of operations including MPT (Myanmar Posts and Telecommunication – #1 MNO in Myanmar), J-Com (#1 MSO in Japan), and T-Gaia (#1 mobile reseller in Japan), and SCSK (leading systems integrator in Asia). Our targeted areas for investment include both telecom operations and related services such as fintech, adtetch, media, and other value-added telecom services. SC-Nex seeks investment opportunities in all the aforementioned areas in order to aggressively expand the group’s business portfolio especially in the Asian region.
Our division focuses on developing new businesses in Media, Content and Entertainment over the telecommunication network and digital platform we deployed in the region, leveraging our expertise acquired by operating the largest cable TV operator and the largest multi-channel operator in Japan,Jupiter Telecommunications Co., Ltd. In cooperation with Carrier Business Development Division and Digital Business Development Division, we proactively seek the opportunities to provide exciting experiences to Asian consumers.
Our Division aims at creating new business in Mobile and Digital industries including Fintech, IoT, and mobile contents services, using our expansive network of Sumitomo affiliates and subsidiaries and working with our valued partners in the region. We look for opportunities to partner with the new companies and new people to create new eco-system in Mobile and Digital industries.
